Founder of Klotho

Admiring from a very young age the embroideries and
the woven clothes and tapestries made by her mother and
grandmother, the owner of Klotho transformed her love for the
craft to a creative occupation and then to a full time job. Proud
for seeing in three years her creation becoming a recognizable
brand, she revives respectfully this ancient art, addressing to the
youthful, modern, dynamic woman. Her second homeland, as
she calls Crete, is for her an inexhaustible source of inspiration,
whereas the wonderful landscapes, the picturesque towns,
the rich history, but mostly the hospitable, warm people are
what make her adore the island. Θαυμάζοντας από μικρή
τα κεντήματα και τα υφαντά της μητέρας και της γιαγιάς
της, η δημιουργός του Klotho μετέτρεψε την αγάπη της
για τη χειροτεχνία σε δημιουργική απασχόληση κι έπειτα
σε full time εργασία. Περήφανη που μέσα σε τρία χρόνια το
δημιούργημά της έγινε ένα αναγνωρίσιμο brand, αναβιώνει
με σεβασμό αυτήν την πανάρχαια τέχνη, απευθυνόμενη στη
νέα, μοντέρνα, δυναμική γυναίκα. Η δεύτερη πατρίδα της,
όπως αποκαλεί την Κρήτη, είναι για εκείνη ανεξάντλητη
πηγή έμπνευσης, ενώ τα όμορφα τοπία, οι γραφικές πόλεις,
η πλούσια ιστορία, αλλά κυρίως οι φιλόξενοι, «ζεστοί»
άνθρωποι είναι που την έκαναν να τη λατρέψει.
