projects.
It all started 8 years ago with the
Monastery Estate Guesthouse and the
aim to create a space of hospitality,
with high level services. The venture
continued in the Old Town of Chania
with the Monastery Estate Venetian
Harbor and the restaurant Mon.Es;
few months ago started the operation
of the Estate Retreat in Sougia,
whereas the Monastery Athens
TownHouse will open its gates in
Athens in 2020.
What does Chania mean to you?
Chania is for me exactly the same as
the Monastery Estate: the joy I saw in
my grandfathers’ and parents’ faces
when they hosted friends and cooked
for them, creating lovely memories.

Η αρχή έγινε πριν από 8 χρόνια με
το Monastery Estate Guesthouse, με
στόχο να δημιουργήσω ένα χώρο
φιλοξενίας με υψηλές υπηρεσίες.
Συνεχίστηκε στην Παλιά Πόλη με
το Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor
και το εστιατόριο Mon.Es, πριν
λίγους μήνες λειτούργησε το Estate
Retreat στη Σούγια, ενώ το 2020 θα
ανοίξει στην Αθήνα το Monastery
Athens TownHouse.
Τι σημαίνουν για εσάς τα Χανιά;
Έίναι ακριβώς σαν τα Monastery
Estate: η χαρά που έβλεπα στους
παππούδες και τους γονείς μου,
όταν φιλοξενούσαν φίλους και
τους μαγείρευαν, δημιουργώντας
υπέροχες αναμνήσεις.
