Furniture designer, founder of Arte Lignum
“Arte lignum” means “art of wood”. The designer is an organic
minimalist, so he strives for minimum intervention in the
perfection of natural materials. His work is addressed to those
who appreciate beauty and uniqueness –the unchangeable and
everlasting qualities of his furniture. They are natural and real,
just like the healthy bars “Pasteleion”, another kind of product
he is creating. He considers Chania as a town that allows
for a space to people with a vision, and he likes going to the
Tabakaria and the Gate of Sand. Arte lignum σημαίνει «η τέχνη
του ξύλου», η οποία με την υπογραφή του νέου σχεδιαστή
ακολουθεί τον οργανικό μινιμαλισμό, επιδιώκοντας έτσι την
ελάχιστη δυνατή παρέμβαση στο ήδη τέλειο φυσικό υλικό.
Η δουλειά του απευθύνεται σε όποιον εκτιμά την ομορφιά
Dimosthenis Kouros αναλλοίωτα στο χρόνο. Όμοια με έργο τέχνης, κάθε
και τη μοναδικότητα, στοιχεία που τα έπιπλά του διατηρούν
δημιουργία του είναι φυσική και αληθινή, όπως και οι μπάρες
Παστέλειον που παρασκευάζει. Θεωρεί ότι τα Χανιά δίνουν
χώρο σε ανθρώπους με όραμα και του αρέσει να πηγαίνει στα
