ARCHAEOLOGICAL
MUSEUM OF CHANIA
The museum features exhibits from
all facets of the cultural history of
the Prefecture of Chania, from the
Neolithic Age to Roman times. The
extensive Konstantinos, Marika and
Kyriakos Mitsotakis Collection, donated
to the museum, includes a number of
interesting artifacts such as a unique
sealstone depicting a Minotaur (1350
BC). Το µουσείο περιλαµβάνει εκθέµατα
που καλύπτουν την πολιτισµική ιστορία
των Χανίων από τη Nεολιθική Εποχή
έως τη ρωµαιοκρατία. Η πλούσια
συλλογή Κωσταντίνου, Μαρίκας
και Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη, δωρεά
στο µουσείο, παρουσιάζει πολλά
ενδιαφέροντα ευρήµατα, όπως τον
µοναδικό σφραγιδόλιθο που εικονίζει
µινώταυρο (1350 π.Χ.). odysseus.
