Living for 14 years in the village of Margarites in Rethymnon, a place with long tradition of pottery, the young
Lithuanian is inspired by the light, the colours and the amazing archaeological treasures of the island; and
narrates with simplicity and humor unique stories through her works. She loves the variety and the alternation
of landscapes of Crete, as well as the energy and sense of autonomy that the island reflects. She is very fond of
the Old Town of Chania; while she enjoys visiting the southern part of Rethymnon. Εγκατεστημένη επί 14
χρόνια στο χωριό Μαργαρίτες του Ρεθύμνου, με τη μακραίωνη κεραμική παράδοση, η νεαρή Λιθουανή
εμπνέεται από το φως, τα χρώματα και τον αρχαιολογικό πλούτο το νησιού και αφηγείται με απλότητα
και χιούμορ ξεχωριστές ιστορίες μέσα από τα έργα της. Στην Κρήτη αγαπά την ποικιλία και τη συχνή
εναλλαγή των τοπίων, όπως επίσης την ενέργεια και την αίσθηση αυτονομίας που αναδίδει το νησί. Αγαπά
την Παλιά Πόλη των Χανίων και επισκέπτεται συχνά τη νότια πλευρά του Ρεθύμνου. eaceramicstudio.com
